Introducing Scott Hatley, a remarkable individual with a profound dedication to making a difference. Scott, despite facing the challenges of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD), has emerged as an inspirational figure in the world of nonprofit leadership. He currently serves as the Executive Director of INCIGHT, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. INCIGHT, under Scott’s visionary guidance, is on a mission to foster social inclusion and empowerment for individuals living with various barriers and dependencies. This nonprofit is at the forefront of transforming lives, providing invaluable support in the realms of education, employment, independence, coaching, and a unique initiative known as Handicap™. Scott Hatley’s unwavering commitment to his role at INCIGHT has led to tangible changes in the lives of countless individuals. Scott’s tireless efforts have created a cultural shift, enabling people with barriers to access higher education, gain meaningful employment, and achieve the independence they deserve.

Scott Hatley is not just an Executive Director; he is a beacon of hope, a catalyst for change, and a driving force behind the betterment of society’s most vulnerable members.   • The Portland Business Journal recognized Scott as one Portland’s 2020 Executives of the Years for his leadership. He is also recognized by several organizations for his service to the Disability Community, including the Muscular Dystrophy Association (Personal Achievement Award recipient and 2004 national finalist), Exceed Enterprises (2013 Londahl-Risley Award), Oregon Parent Training and Information Center (2007 Youth Achievement Award) and Exceptional Parent Magazine (2006 Distinguished Service Award). Scott is an avid sports fan and frequently attends Trail Blazers games and local high school and college events.
