Nina and Keith talk about her book “Stutterer Interrupted: The Comedian Who Almost Didn’t Happen,” her comedy career and life experiences. They share stories on relationships, comedy and writing her book. Advocacy is important to Nina and they discuss her relationship with advocacy and disability. Nina talks about her book, her comedy special of the same name and her other projects including an album available on itunes. She discusses the writing process and how that helped her writing with her dyslexia and how she balanced the comedy with life experiences. “All I have to say is the premise [of a joke] and you guys laugh at the premise and I forget the punchline because you guys just get it. That’s why I love disabled audiences, that’s also why I’m part of the Comedians with Disability Act.”
