Heather C. Markham is an engineer, assistive technology professional, public speaker, competitive Para Surfer, educator, ADA architectural barriers specialist, golfer, and award-winning international photographer. Her company, Making Waves for Good, launched in 2018 with three goals in mind: Provide ADA code compliance and usability consulting to businesses–because accessibility is more than just ramps; Publish authors with an authentic voice; Curate a gallery of fine art photography crafted with love that offer a new perspective on the Unseen. Heather and her husband currently live in central Arizona’s wine tourism capital, with her deaf super-snuggly Maine coon cat and his deaf dachshund mutt.
